UNISONG Festival Package 2011
FESTIVAL PACKAGE INCLUDES - LAND ONLY

The opportunity to play an active role in Canada’s largest national unity celebration.

Performances - The opportunity to perform 6 separate concerts at different venues, including 3 massed UNISONG performances by all Canadian choristers on Canada Day, and 3 shared concerts with your own repertoire of music and 3 different venues - these concerts will be promoted locally by way of media releases.

Venues – the UNISONG concerts will be performed in Southam Hall at the National Arts Centre, and the three other performances will be held in a local church, the Rotunda of Parliament, and in the Foyer Main Stage of the National Arts Centre.

Accommodation – 4 nights at the Travelodge hotel

Meals - 4 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 4 dinners (including a great barbeque)

Transportation – We have made arrangements for coach transportation to and from the airport as required and during the festival to festival events in Ottawa

o   Note: School buses may be used for short transfers required during the festival.

Host – we have arranged for a local host to escort your group throughout your journey with us. They will act as a liaison with UNISONG organizers to make sure your needs are addressed in a timely manner and to assist with planning your free time.

Extras – all service charges and gratuities for services provided

Free –  Festival T-shirt. We have negotiated 1 free package (based on double occupancy) for each 25 paying participants (this applies to “Festival Package Includes” items only). The amount will be credited back on your final statement.

Space is subject to availability at the time of registration. Costs are based on average group sizes of 35 participants. More or fewer participants per group may result in rate adjustments as confirmed in advance of our acceptance of your registration.

NOT INCLUDED IN FESTIVAL PACKAGE

TRANSPORTATION – travel to Ottawa is not included. If you require AIR or RAIL transportation, please let us know and we will be happy to make travel arrangements for your group. Please see TRAVEL OPTIONS below for more details.

INSURANCE – as some of our participants may be covered by personal plans, we have not included the cost of insurance into our program. This does not mitigate the need to protect yourself financially or medically. We strongly advise that each participant confirms their coverage for out-of-province medical and for trip cancellation insurance. For those who need additional coverage, please see our section below on INSURANCE.

ACTIVITIES – Sightseeing tours, entrances to museums and attractions, tickets to theatre, plays, musicals or symphony performances, and related transportation to such events not included on your itinerary.

MEALS – any meals not specified above.

PERSONAL EXPENSES – any other expenses of a personal nature while you are with us.

TAXES – HST is not included and will be added to your total cost (Canadian Groups only).
